Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie — Nessa’s Curly Hair Product Pick of the Day
Nessa’s curly hair product pick of the day — Shea Moisture (Coconut and Hibiscus) Curl Enhancing Smoothie! Shea Moisture brand works wonders on my hair. I have actually implemented Shea Moisture it into my entire beauty routine…But for this post, I’ll stick to bragging about the hair smoothie.
I would go as far to say that Shea Moisture’s curl enhancing smoothie is the best curly hair product out there. This product is meant to tame frizz and leave curls feeling soft and bouncy all day, and that it does! The curl smoothie is meant for “thick, curly hair,” and is to provide “anti-frizz, moisture and shine,” all of which it accomplishes! Though my hair isn’t classified as “thick,” it does get pretty frizzy and is a little wild if I don’t treat it properly. This products help me accomplish my #hairgoals every time.
The application and process of using the curly hair smoothie is simple. My application process is as follows — after showering/washing your curls, towel off (or wrap your hair in a t-shirt — see my post about that topic HERE) your hair until just damp. Next, I take about a quarter-sized glob of product and rub it in my hands, flip my hair upside-down and work through the entirety of my hair. I try to focus on the back and under-layers of my hair to reduce the frizziness. After applying the curl smoothie, I use my diffuser to dry. The product also works just fine with air drying! The curl smoothie has a lotion-like texture that is easy to work through your hair. It also has a soft, argan oil like smell that fades a little after drying…My hair always smells nice after using the curl smoothie!
I generally buy the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie at Target, Walmart or Walgreens…Where it can be found for about $7.00 a bottle for six ounces of product, or $12.00 a bottle for 12 oz… Which is a great price considering how long it lasts! Here’s a link to the Target website (I’m not cool enough to make money off of affiliate links yet, so there’s no trickery here!) » https://goo.gl/07CpmG
I hope this curly hair product works as well for you as it has for me!
